AI IN THE WILD

AI wired into a broken process doesn't fix the process. It executes the dysfunction faster. Garbage in, garbage out has always been true. AI just removes the lag time between the garbage and the consequence.

Buying AI tools is not a strategy. It takes significant operational discipline.

Everyone's screaming "AI urgency" - and they're not wrong. But I'm watching many sprint in the wrong direction. Speed matters. But direction matters more. Moving fast in the wrong direction doesn't make you agile. It will make you exhausted, broke, and further behind.

Most organizations are simply playing and making AI pilots without any real thought or plan for an ROI. That's where the AI Pilot graveyard comes into view.

In most cases, corporate-driven tool training is pretty foolish at the speed AI is moving. When models are doubling in capacity every 4 months, it's silly to focus too much energy on GenAI tool training.
